To be honest, i really don't know. I think is is a little smaller than the usual shock. And our trails are rough too, believe me, that why i still run 160mm in the front. But what i also wanted to add is that the rp3 eats up the rough sh!t as well as the smaller bumps.

I actually really like it, considering i ride more 'steep' jumps now, in stead of rather downhilly trails. It is also lighter. But your bb height is a bit lower , though it rides turns much more faster that way. Coming from a coil shock, i was actually rather worried, but i actually didn't expect it to be that nice.
